I don't even have to give a moment to think about it. Without a doubt, my most IMPORTANT wedding photograph that I have ever created is this one right here. Whenever I see it I am filled with so many emotions.

I met the bride and groom through one of my ads and only spoke briefly over the phone as they lived in Texas. When we finally met a few days before the wedding the bride made it known to me that she wasn't going to be doing a father/daughter dance. I asked why only to find out that her Dad had terminal cancer and that she felt that it would be too emotional for her to have that moment.

After hearing that valuable information we made sure to stick to that man all day. Any time they were near each other, we were there to capture it. In the end, they did have that father/daughter dance... and it was THE MOST emotional dance and moment I'ver ever witnessed. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. People were openly sobbing! I felt bad that they could hear the clicking of my shutter. The way he was looking at her in this photo just says it all.

Sadly, Ashley's dad passed away a few months later. After she told me I immediately had a large canvas of this image sent to her home and it hangs there still today.

This will always justify the value that I bring to my couples on one of the most important days in their lives. My own father just passed away so I know how valuable photographs can be. I try to deliver an unobtrusive, editorial style wedding photography here in Florida. My super power is the ability to freeze time... forever.
